Due Onde is a Dutch - Italian duo that plays ethnic, world and neo-folk music with new age and
ambient infuences.
In their live shows, the voice and the acoustic instruments weave a creative dialogue with
technology: sounds and grooves are sampled and reworked in real time to create a rich and
dynamic sound tapestry. Improvisation plays an important role in giving life to ever changhing music
journeys.

ARTISTS SHORT BIO
Rob Van Barschot is a drummer and a percussionist from the Netherlands.
He has studied improvised music in Tilburg, where he found his love for African and Latin music.
After that he joined several bands in the folk scene like OMNIA, NEBALA and The Dolmen.
He is the Dutch ambassador of GUDA drums from the Ukraine. Inspired by their instruments, he has made
two albums called HOME and SECOND HOME on handpan, tongue drum and other percussions.
Rob has played shows and given drum workshops all over the world, including festivals like Castlefest (the
Netherlands), Midgardsblot (Norway), Wacken (Germany), Faerieworlds (USA).
Valentina Buroni has studied modern singing, Early music singing, Irish traditional singing, overtone singing and
Gregorian chanting.
She is a holistic professional and she is specialized in the use of singing and sound for personal growth and
well-being. She's a voice teacher.
She is a composer and a producer and she has released seven full length albums (Dragonheart Records,
Standing Stone Records, Inertial Music) renging from electro-acoustic ambient to world music.
She has played big international festivals like Triskell Celtic Festival (taly) and Wave Gotik Treffen (Germany).
